It’s impossible to develop valid perspectives from a lens of negativity.
I’ve learned a lot in the past week. The lessons have been kind of hard, but my wisdom has reached new heights. I’ve learned that it’s super important to remain conscious in all of my interactions-to be mindful of the ears I confide in-to be mindful of where my help comes from. Well,….I wouldn’t say learned, I would say that I was reassured. The worst thing you can do is put your name on the tip of a negative tongue-a spirit that is grudging against you. It comes back with extra ammunition-it becomes more empowered.
I am certain that my life must be my life-my family must be my family-my husband must continue to be my best friend-my son is my reason. I pray that God places me in circles that give me the freedom and the comfort to be me-to speak my truth-lead me to those who will be inspired by my words when their hearts are discouraged. Surround me with positivity and give me the courage to step away when it is not perceived as such.
If it interferes with your purpose, it’s not worthy of your time.
Don’t give to the detriment of yourself, especially your spiritual well being. Your time on this Earth should be a perfect balance of becoming the best version of yourself and supporting others in becoming better versions of themselves.
Self love and acceptance are critical in the pursuit of “authentic” happiness. Not one single detail of who you are is a mistake-it’s just that your journey is one that only you have the power to endure.
There’s nothing worse than an “old fool”.
